Jim
A founder member of Heidrum, well known on the local music scene, has played bass with several local bands in his time. More recently, along with a semi acoustic bass, he aquired a Bouzouki, a Tenor Banjo and a Djembe, all of which he plays in the band. Jim's ear for music and excellent harmonies are a big influence on what Heidrum is today ...

Karen
A newer member of Heidrum, Karen is a well respected musician on the local music scene. She's an excellent fiddle player, plays the pipes & has more recently taken up the mandolin. Always on the lookout for new tunes to play & styles to learn. Up for sessions or gigs anytime, she can also hold her own on the Guinness front and is a very welcome addition to the band ...

Gary
Is the newest member of Heidrum. A veteran of the local music scene, has played in several local bands over the years, including his current rock band F 'n' 3Gs. He plays great acoustic guitar, sings excellent vocals & harmonies & as with the rest of the band, he's always up for music sessions or gigs wherever they may be. Joyce
Is fairly new to the music scene as a player, although she spent many a year patiently listening to Heidrum learning various tunes and instruments, and is now firmly embedded with the band as our Bodhran player. Another Heidrum founder, has been involved in music one way or another for many a year. Bart
Brian (Bart) Simpson is a founder member of Heidrum, and another old hand at the local music scene. He can play anything you want on rythm guitar, some of his lead licks are fantastic and his bluegrass strum is unbeatable. On top of that he's got a great ear for harmonies. Phil Daly
Phil, an Irishman, originally from Dublin, helps out a lot with the band in his spare time. A good friend of each of the founding members, he roadies for us, drives us to & from gigs & sessions and generally helps out wherever he can. Scot Learmonth
Scot was also around when Heidrum was formed. His mum owned & ran our local pub at the time and Scot helped us out a lot with loans of PA gear and the use of the back bar to practice in etc. He now owns and runs Ash Bar in Montrose and we've had several great gigs at his pub. Especially the Hogmanay hoolies ....

Paul Henslee
Paul played sesions with us in the early days. He's a fantastic guitarists, both acoustic & electric., as well as a dab hand at the harmonica, mando or bluegrass banjo, and just about anything else with strings on it.
